About Me

Scrap in a Corner
Iowa, United States
Hi! My name is Carrie. I started Carrie's Kennels in May 2010. I bought my business from a friend who was unable to sell anymore. I have come to love the Coton de Tulear breed! They have wonderful personalities and are very smart! They get along well together and are very accepting of each other and new friends. Perfect for anyone, even kids, especially anyone with dog allergies as they are hypo-allergenic. They do not have doggie dander. My children and I handle them daily, so they are very socialable when they are ready for their forever homes. Cotons love being with you! They love being held, sitting to watch your favorite show and even going for a walk. They are a rare breed from Madagascar, the port city of Tulear. They shed lightly with brushing as our hair does. They are in the same family as the Maltese and Bichon Frese. Males and females alike make the perfect companion. My males are not aggressive at all. They are the most loving fellows. I did not have males growing up, so I never had a male until May 2010 and I am amazed! My Luke will follow and sit by my side as close as he can. :) If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
