9 Extremely Quick Cards

I used the left overs from my Emporium paper Level 1 and made these cards in minutes. I know, VERY simple. Do people keep cards? I don't know. Some do. Some don't. The stamp set was the March Stamp of the Month called "A Little Everything."

Emporium Cards

Below I used Emporium to make 6 cards from a Level 1 kit. I never finished them until now.

CTMH Club Recipe Book

I was in a Close To My Heart Club for 3 years. Once we had everyone bring as many recipes as they wanted to share with everyone. (So, we had to write or type them out on a 4x6 card.) Then we put them into a 6x6 page protector and was supposed to trace the top of a clear stamp envelope and cut it out and stamp it the way we wanted. I never got around to it, so I put mine into Flip Flaps and stuck them together with the adhesive. (If the pages for some reason don't want to stick together, use glue dots.) I then took 3 glue dots on each of the front and back sticky part of the strip and added a green twill, you could use ribbon. I then took 2 brads and put them through my layers of flip flaps and cut off the excess part you could see. I used Pansy Purple cardstock for the front and back covers and then used my Cricut for the lettering. I didn't use tabs, I just put the recipes in the order that I wanted.

I hope you enjoy viewing my scrapbook pages! I just got back into scrapbooking and wanted to share what I have been creating.
My sister and I rearranged my scrapbook area, so I am excited to "use" my space. It is more organized and everything is together in its own area. Before I had like cards and supplies here and there and everywhere. Before I used to use Stampin' Up products and now I am huge into Close To My Heart, obviously because I sell it. :) But I had paper upstairs and downstairs and now it is all upstairs in one area. All of my idea books are also in one place, so it'll be alot easier the next time I want to make a card. Also, when I am searching for that perfect card for someone, they are all in one spot.
I hope these new posts are an inspiration to you as your art has been to me.

Sweet Home

This paper pack is called Sweet Home. I copied this page from the fall/winter catalog from 2009, I loved it and decided to make my own. You can view the paper pack on my blog just by clicking the image of the catalog. It is on page 28.

Recipe Book

I got the idea for this recipe book through another ctmh consultant about a year ago. I used a 3 ring binder and used the Let's Get Together Paper Pack (retired) and Delight in Everything stamp set (current) and the LGT Recipe Cards (current). I used the stamp set to random stamp on the pages, as you will see as you scroll down. The colors in the paper pack are: Cranberry, Buttercup, Garden Green and Breeze (retired). I used Sunny Yellow in place of Buttercup and Crystal Blue in place of Breeze. I used my Cricut to make the letters in the word Recipes. It is called Ashlyn's Alphabet.

Here I used a Flip Flap. These are great for longer recipes or in this case it has the original underneath and the changed version on top.

Instructions for the cards made from one 12x12 Paper

You'll cut the 5.5 x 12 first. Then turn and cut 1.5, 2.75 and 3.5 inch pieces next. Be sure to mark the number on the back.
Then you'll need to turn the 6.5 x 12 piece and cut two at 6.5 x 4.25. Then cut pieces 6 & 7 accordingly. Then pieces 8 & 9. Turn back and cut #10 at 5.5 x 3.5.
I would recommend practicing first. :) I have done this 3 times and messed up once or twice. It may help to re-draw one on a 12x12. I think that is where the confusion is.
I have also made Christmas cards when my upline did hers. I can post those, if you'd like to see them. She used a piece of B&T and 2 cardstocks. You'll have to add those and stamps. With this pattern you'll have one piece for 10 cards. Don't forget your 10 card bases. :)

10 Cards From One 12x12 Paper

Each card has the same pattern paper, only they are each cut into different sizes. I got the idea from my upline who got it from another consultant, but if you'd like the directions, let me know and I'll post a picture of the cutting diagram.

I used the Bella Level 2 Paper Pack on this one. I absolutely love that paper pack. I used Reflections for the layout.

Graduation Page

I have been scrapbooking up a storm. I filled up another scrapbook. I made two of these pages. I random stamped the "You Did It" stamp set in a denim ink for my son's pre-k graduation page and for a couple of family members graduation. I loved it's turn out and wanted to share.

Sarsaparilla

I used the Sarsaparilla Level 2 Paper Pack. The pieces are 4x4 and the top right is a 4x8. I used the Headline Alphabet for the word FAMILY, and the Legendary Moments stamp set to "stitch the pieces together," and also for the corner flourishes. If you notice in the FAMILY title there is a design. This technique is called "Stamp Kissing." You take the letter "F" and ink it, then I took the Intrinsic Backgrounds (it was the criss cross stamp) put it on a block. The you take the inked "F" and very carefully (as it will want to slide) "stamp" it on the background, carefully lift and the image is on the letter. Then stamp it on your paper and you have a textured "F". Do the rest the same way.
You can do this with any design, not just letters. If you have any questions, let me know, I'd be glad to help. :)
